JORGE YAGÜE
Recently awarded with the 2nd Prize at the Erich Bergel International Conducting Competition, Jorge Yagüe (Madrid, 1996) will make his debut this season 2024/25 with Musikkollegium Winterthur, Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, Symphonieorchester St. Gallen, Pazardzhik Symphony Orchestra, Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra or State Philharmonic Târgu Mures, among others. Yagüe serves as Chief and Artistic Conductor of the León Youth Orchestra (Joven Orquesta Leonesa) since 2019. At the age of 28, he has already worked with the Spanish Radio Television Orchestra, Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, L’Orchestra Senzaspine, Spanish National Youth Orchestra, Extremadura Symphony Orchestra, Hradec-Králové Philharmonie, Konstanz Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie or Berner Symphonieorchester in countries as Czech Republic, Germany, United States, Austria, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Rumania or Sweden. Jorge is currently based in Zürich, where he has been studying at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) since 2022 under the guidance of Prof. Christoph Mathias Müller and Johannes Schlaefli, and where nowadays he also works as the Assistant of the Conducting Studio. Previously, he took his first steps as a conductor at the Katarina Gurska School of Music (Madrid) in the class of Prof. Borja Quintas, and broadened his education with Mtro. Daniele Gatti at the Chigiana Academy (Siena). Since 2023, Jorge is part of the roaster of Musiespaña for representation in Spain and Portugal.
Emil-George Atanasov
His career is dedicated to the contemporary trombone instrument and its charming ancestor – the sackbut. Emil – George graduated at the National School of Music “Lubomir PIpkov” in the class of the famous trombone player and teacher Dobrin Ivanov. He continued his education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, UK. Then he graduated from the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Bulgaria. Emil – George has played in different symphony orchestras including King’s College London Symphony Orchestra and Ruskin University Orchestra in Cambridge. Since 2018 he has been a soloist at the Sofia National Opera and Ballet. Emil – George discovered his passion for teaching and made his first steps in this direction in Every Child Music Service and Borough Music School programme in London. In 2020 he was an assistant professor at the Summer Academy for Brass Ensembles and Percussion in Koprivshtitsa.

GRIGOR PALIKAROV
Grigor Palikarov (born in 1971 in Plovdiv) graduated the National School of Music and Dance Art “Dobrin Petkov” – Plovdiv with the specialty of piano with excellent grades and golden badge award in 1990 and then he graduated the Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia with Master’s degrees in four majors: Opera and Symphony Conducting under Acad. V. Kazandzhiev and Prov. Iv. Vulpe; Composition under Prof. D. Tapkov, Piano – under Prof. Kr. Taskov and Choir Conducting under Prof. St. Kralev. He specialized in Composition within two summer courses in Austria with Prof. Erich Urbaner from Vienna University of Musical and Performing Arts.
His debut at the opera stage was when he was still a student (at the age of 22) and conducted Rigoletto in the opera theatres in Pleven and Stara Zagora.
His professional career as a conductor began in the Symphonic Orchestra of the Bulgarian Army Ensemble (1995 – 1997) and from 1997 to 1999 he was Chief Conductor of the Ensemble. In the meantime, he also took the position of conductor and chief artistic director of the renowned Youth Philharmonic “Pioneer” (1998 – 2003). His debut at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre – Sofia was in 1998 when he conducted a Gala Concerto of Gena Dimitrova by her personal request. Since 2001 he was appointed fulltime conductor of the opera and currently his repertoire includes more than 55 opera and ballet works. Since season 2005-2006 Grigor Palikarov is also the Chief Artistic Director and Conductor of the Symphonic-Opera Society at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia.
At present, Grigor Palikarov is a frequent visiting conductor of a number of orchestras and opera theatres among which are: Symphonic Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio, Classic FM Orchestra – Sofia, of which he is also a permanent conductor since season 2008-2009, Sofia Philharmonic, Festival Orchestra – Sofia, the national Operas in Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna, Ruse and Stara Zagora, the Pleven Philharmonic, etc. A special place among his multiple conducting performances is occupied by the numerous studio records of various works with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio, along with his participations in prestigious national and international music festivals such as Sofia Music Weeks, March Music Days, Laureate Days “Katya Popova” – Pleven, Austrian Music Weeks, New Bulgarian Music, Winter Music Evenings – Pazardzhik, Opera and Ballet Festival – Varna, Contemporary Music Festival – Pula, Croatia, May Opera Nights – Skopje, Macedonia, Dyuni Festival – Matera, Italy, etc. In October 2014, Grigor Palikarov had two concertos with the orchestra of Classic FM Radio at the prestigious Alte Oper (Frankfurt am Mein) from the programme of the festival of European Culture Days organized by the European Central Bank.
Grigor Palikarov regularly performs abroad in countries like Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxemburg, Russia, the USA, Slovenia, Greece, Poland, the Ukraine, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Portugal, Mexico, Korea, Japan, Uruguay, etc. He has conducted the Royal Belgian Philharmonic – Brussels, the national Opera and Ballet – Ljubljana, Vienna Chamber Ensemble “New Tone”, Century Symphonic Orchestra – Taipei, Cleveland Opera – the USA where his debut was marked as one of the most important music events for 2009 in the state of Ohio, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet – Russia, Yanacek Philharmonic – Czech Republic, Czestohowa Philharmonic and Varmino-Masuric Philharmonic – Poland, Symphonic Orchestra – Bari, national Orchestra (SODRE) and the National Choir of Uruguay, Magna Grecia Orchestra – Italy, Dnepropetrovsk Philharmonic, Yucatan Symphonic Orchestra and Monterey Symphonic Orchestra – Mexico, Thessaloniki Symphonic Orchestra, and many others.
Along with his activity as a conductor, Grigor Palikarov composes, performs in concerto playing the piano and teaches at the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” where he successfully pursued his Ph.D. degree in Music Studies and Music Art in 2017. Some of his works are being performed at a number of festivals and have been recorded many times. He has won many national and international awards for his successful performance as a composer and pianist at the competitions “Svetosalv Obretenov”, “Albert Roussel”, The Music of the Earth, etc. Three-time laureate of the prestigious award Crystal Lyre of the Union of Bulgarian Musicians and Dancers – 2002, 2012, and 2017, as well as of the ward the Golden Feather. Within two mandates, Grigor Palikarov has been the Chair of Mensa-Bulgaria – the branch of the worldwide organization of people with high IQ.
Albert Mamriev
Pianist, conductor, music producer Albert Mamriev was born in Dagestan and studied with his father – a famous musician – Yankel Mamriev, with Professor Alexander Bakulov and Professor Nikolai Kostylev at the Central Music School of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory , with Professor Sergei Dorensky in the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory as well as with Professor Arie Vardi at the S. Rubin Academy of Music at the Tel Aviv University (B. Mus and M. Mus.) And at the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media (solo class). Albert Mamriev is prizewinner of many international piano competitions such as: „Gina Bachauer“ in Salt Lake City, „UNISA“ in Pretoria, „Vianna da Motta“ in Lisboa, „Scottish International“ in Glasgow, „China International“ in Beijing and many others. Amâncio Cabral i
Amâncio Cabral iniciou os estudos musicais no Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada, onde concluiu o curso complementar de música na classe de violino da professora Shelley Ross. Em Lisboa, completou a licenciatura em Ciências Musicais, na Universidade Nova de Lisboa, e a Licenciatura em Instrumentista de Orquestra/Violino na Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra, na classe de Aníbal Lima. Estudou ainda com António Anjos, Mark Gunderman, Dan Derry e Gerardo Ribeiro. Integrou a Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil e a Orquestra Académica Metropolitana, tendo colaborado com a Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa e com a Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa. É membro fundador do Quarteto da Capo e da Orquestra de Câmara de Ponta Delgada, tendo integrado, também, diversas formações orquestrais formadas nos Açores, destacando-se a sua função de chefe de naipe de 2º violinos na Orquestra Clássica Francisco Lacerda. Desde 2011 estuda Direção de Orquestra com Jean-Sébastien Béreau, tendo trabalhado, também, com Adriano Martinolli d’Arcy e Alberto Roque. Diretor musical da Sinfonietta de Ponta Delgada, dirigiu ainda a Orquestra do Estágio Internacional de Leiria, a Banda Militar dos Açores e a Orquestra de Câmara da Guarda Nacional Republicana. Desde 2002 é professor de Violino e Orquestra no Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada. É co-fundador e diretor musical da Orquestra Quadrivium.
Paul Lecocq
Paul Lecocq débute l’étude du piano en 2013, à l’âge de 8 ans. Il suit une formation complète au CRR de Saint-Maur, où il étudie le piano avec son premier professeur Christine Fonlupt, qui l’accompagnera pendant 10 ans jusqu’à son entrée au CNSMD de Paris, mais il suit également les classes de clavecin ainsi que d’écriture. Il est admis au CNSMDP en 2022 et intègre la classe de Claire Désert et de Romano Pallottini. L’année suivante il rejoint la classe de Louis Rodde et Haruko Ueda en musique de chambre, en duo avec le violoncelliste Léo Léna. Il y suit une formation très complète en suivant les formations d’écriture, harmonie au clavier ainsi que des enseignements en déchiffrage, en harmonie au clavier, écriture et analyse. Il est révélé en novembre 2022, lorsqu’il atteint la demi-finale du prestigieux Concours Long-Thibaud, où il est remarqué pour son « toucher exquis » et son « lyrisme naturel ». En juillet 2023, il remporte le 3e prix ainsi que le Prix de la presse au Concours Euregio piano awards à Geilenkirchen en Allemagne. Il s’est déjà produit à de nombreuses reprises avec orchestre dans le Double concerto de Poulenc avec François René Duchâble, dans le 2e concerto de Chopin avec l’Euregio Chamber Orchestra, ainsi qu’en soliste avec le projet Piano Orchestra à la Philharmonie de Paris à deux reprises. Il forme également le Duo Pierrot avec le pianiste Martin Jaspard. Il a l’occasion d’être invité et de se produire en récital ou en musique de chambre à des festivals tels que Ma Vigne en Musique à Narbonne, le Festival Chant de la Terre à Paris, ou le Festival Pianos anciens et talents d’aujourd’hui en Auvergne.
